Line plugging isolates and temporarily blocks a section of pressurized pipeline for an alteration or repair. This can be done without shutting down your system and without the loss of product. The flow can even be maintained by creating a temporary bypass around the work area.

Steam & Process' Field Service Division offers both pivoting head and folding head line stop methods, ranging from 3" - 12" in stock. Pressure ranges up to 900# and temperatures to 500°F. Larger sizes available on request.

We also offer high temperature high pressure line stops ranging from 500°F to 700°F and pressures up to 1140 Psi. We carry equipment sizes 1/2" to 14" in stock. Larger sizes available on request.
